What’s up, future music legends!?! EarSketch is running with the ball in partnership with the WNBA, NBA, Atlanta Dream, ROKU, Renee Montgomery Foundation, Storyform, and Future Roots Radio and bringing you a chance to show off your skills with a national remix contest tied to the soundtrack of Sandrine Orabona’s new documentary, “A Radical Act: Renee Montgomery.”
The soundtrack of A Radical Act follows Renee Montgomery’s inspiring journey as a WNBA player who takes the radical step to opt out of the league, become a social justice activist, and eventually a co-owner and executive of the Atlanta Dream. It explores her background, basketball success, and the activism that defines her. We all have stories—moments where we’ve taken radical steps, big or small.
We’re looking for new voices to add their own twist to Renee’s story.

Best remixes overall will get play on Renee’s “Montgomery and Company” WABE (Atl) radio program and podcast as well as on MixCloud, SoundCloud, IG, and X by some of the WNBA’s major players. This is your chance to get heard and show the world what you’ve got.

Roku Originals has picked up Sandrine Orabona’s “A Radical Act: Renee Montgomery,” an inspirational feature documentary about Renee Montgomery, a two-time WNBA Champion, sports broadcaster, and activist who is currently co-owner and vice president of the Atlanta Dream.
This new feature is an intimate portrait of Renee’s transition from player to front office, as well as the experiences that formed her character, from growing up in West Virginia to capturing two WNBA titles with the Minnesota Lynx.
Directed by Sandrine Orabona, “A Radical Act: Renee Montgomery” is produced by UNINTERRUPTED in association with Storyform, P&G Studios, and the WNBA. LeBron James, Maverick Carter, Jamal Henderson, Philip Byron, Renee Montgomery, Stephanie Acevedo, Kimberly Doebereiner, and Eric Austin serve as executive producers. Camille Maratchi serves as co-executive producer.
