This score was especially fun to write as its all based on a 19th century murder ballad called Long Lankin. In the song, Lankin convinces a nursemaid to steal away a newborn so that he might bleed it and bath in its blood to cure himself of disease.
In Bad Blood, the antagonist has stage 4 bone cancer and to prolong his life, replaces his tainted blood with the clean blood of his victims – bwahahaha!!!!!
