Creating the score for “The Changing Room” was an exercise in amplifying the film’s psychological tension and eerie atmosphere. The music had to mirror the claustrophobic setting and the protagonist’s growing fear as she encounters the supernatural elements within the changing room. To achieve this, I used dissonant tones and subtle, creeping melodies that build suspense and unease.
The score plays a crucial role in heightening the sense of dread, making the audience feel as trapped and anxious as the character. Every sound and silence was meticulously crafted to ensure the horror was palpable, complementing the film’s haunting visuals and gripping narrative.
